Wedding Bienalle is a unique wedding photo exhibition. Works of the best Petersburg wedding photographers are presented, as well as of the world wedding photo masters such as Joe Bjussink, Bamby Cantrell, Ervant, Laslo Gabani and Alexander Nozdrin.

• establishment of steady international cultural dialogue between Russia and the West;

The latest round of development is reserved for club culture and the city’s concert life. At the beginning of January, 2009, at the entertainment center “Warsaw Express”, a unique in its concept concert stage “Waiting Room” opening will take place.
“Waiting Room” represents a qualitatively new idea of combining a concert hall with more than 1,000-person capacity and a modern night club under the single name suggested by the center’s creators. For the first time for many years, Saint-Petersburg will have the stage, it needed so much.
Exclusivity of sound and video equipment, which has been brought especially, and the idea of dividing the space into the main hall with the stage-podium and two halls for VIP-guests with a separate entrance, which was conceptually thought-out, makes “Waiting Room” markedly distinguished among the other concert stages.
In the evenings, the hall will act as a music stage for popular Russian and foreign groups, and at night, it will transform into the epicenter of electronic music trends.

Weddings are in fashion, and vogue of excellent weddings brings vogue of the highest class wedding photo, which is no less expensive and exclusive than designer’s dresses of modern brides.
Fashion Wedding is an exhibition of elite dynamic designer’s wedding photo. No standards and stamps. The project aims at showing the viewer, that a wedding photo is not “a mere picture of a bride-groom and a bride against the local monuments”, but a sort of art, and that a wedding photo could be and must be done beautifully, luxuriously and exquisitely.
For the first time, the project was executed a year ago. ESC “Warsaw Express” became a stage for the event execution. The exhibition united a lot of matures and amateurs as well as future newly-married couples. Within the scope of he exhibition, two-day master-classes from top wedding-makers attended by about 400 persons, were given. Since the project became a success, there was born an idea of making it traditional.
For this time, Fashion Wedding opening will take place on February, 2-nd, on the eve of the all lovebirds holyday, the Saint Valentine’s Day. The stage selection is not by accident (the Russian Fashion Gallery): showing designer’s wedding dresses by St.Petersburg designers will become an additional bonus.
Apart from it, within the exhibition, open free master-classes by photographers-participants both for the professionals, and for future newly-married couples will be given.

He is a famous wedding photographer from St.Petersburg, “reformer” of the wedding photo. At his time, he was working in the USA. On his returning to St.Petersburg, he has completely altered the approach to wedding taking pictures, actively developing a completely different conception of wedding photo: applying art’s elements and new artistic methods. This can be regarded as an attempt to raise wedding photo genre, which had the notorious fame in the post-soviet space, to the rate of art. From the standpoint of leading photographers, he is the best photographer in St.Petersburg, Photo academy lecturer. Nowadays, apart from many wedding taking pictures, Alexander teaches master classes in various cities of Russia and post-soviet space: Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, Petrozavodsk, Moscow, Vilnius and others.

After having worked for various glossy magazines for several years, she immersed herself into wedding picture taking, as she has found what she appreciates in the photo itself above all: an individual and his inner movement, response to the surrounding world.
For the latest years, she has participated in eight various exhibitions, including “Autumn Marathon” in 2004. In 2006, taking part in the international competition “Graduate Fashion Week” she took two premium places for nominations “Fashion” and “Beauty”, and the overall standings grand prize.
At the moment she lives and works in England, graduating from one of the most prestigious establishments, University of arts (London), which confirms her skills and knowledge.

Peter answers the question, why he finds wedding photo taking to be attractive: “The atmosphere of this holyday itself, happy smiling people, sincerity of emotions, unexpected situations, which challenge the photographer’s art, is what has been thrilling and exciting me for already two years. It’s my life, I enjoy these photo takings not forgetting portrait photo though”.
