On October 19, 2012 Adamant Company will celebrate 20 years. This is a very important date for the company. Over the past two decades Russia went through a number of events that had had defining influence on development of Russian economy. Throughout this time the Company moved on confidently, developing and strengthening its position on the market, and this year we proudly celebrate 20 years of continued success.

Over 20 years Adamant worked steadily and grew from a single store to the largest trade and manufacturing corporation on the Russian North-West.

Adamant Holding is one of the largest multifunctional Russian holdings and leader on the market of commercial real estate of St. Petersburg. The Company helped to create the sector of modern trade and recreation centers in the region. Now the Company owns and operates 26 modern shopping malls with the total area of more than 936,000 square meters. Three of the Adamant malls are among top 100 shopping malls of Russia in the rating of the Guild of Managers and Developers. The holding also incorporates more than 50 enterprises and companies including the Russian Glass Company, construction and manufacturing companies, architectural and design and development studios, trade enterprises, a medical clinic, an advertising agency, hotels, restaurants and other enterprises in various business sectors.

According to Knight Frank St. Petersburg Adamant Company occupies 20.8% of the commercial real estate market of St. Petersburg and is the market leader according to this indicator. Adamant Holding is one of top three largest commercial real estate owners in Russia according to the rating of InfoLine Developer Russia Top-100 published by Kommersant. It is also mentioned in the Forbes Rating of 200 Largest Non-Public Companies of Russia in 2012.

In the fourth quarter of 2012 Adamant Holding launched several new facilities: Mezhdunarodnyi shopping mall opened its doors in late August, and Continent na Bukharestskoy shopping mall will open in December. Both these buildings will also house entrance pavilions to new subway stations. In December 2012 Balkanskiy shopping mall will launch 12 Stulyev, a state-of-the-art art furniture center 21,000 square meters in area. The new store promises to become the discovery of the year in the interior design segment of the St. Petersburg furniture market. The furniture center will become a part of the second addition to Balkania NOVA shopping mall with the total area of 75,000 square meters. The new mall will be opened in late 2012 – early 2013. Sobranie Office Center, which opened in September 2012, became yet another Adamant Company project in the office real estate sector.

Adamant Holding employs more than 10,000 people in St. Petersburg and nine other Russian regions. Social responsibility of the Holding is not limited to creating new jobs. In September 2011 Adamant Company was awarded for support of children's orphanages and children's educational establishments, and included the Charity Activities Report of the Guild of Managers and Developers.
