In May 2010 the first season of International Fashion Week in St. Petersburg was held.
St. Petersburg AURORA FASHION WEEK is a major federal project, focused on fashion industry but affecting many spectra of socio-cultural paradigm.
Today the WEEK has got a support from the RF Ministry of Culture and the St. Petersburg Government represented by the Committee of Culture and the Committee of Investments and Special Projects and also been scheduled into events of international program the Year of Russia in France and France in Russia. Besides the guardian council of St. Petersburg AURORA FASHION WEEK was chaired directly by vice-governor, Alla Manilova.
